Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

DGFari AI is operated by Danica Gabriella Fariñas Melecio, a sole proprietor based in the Republic of the Philippines. That is who these Terms are an agreement with.

By creating an account or using DGFari AI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the product. These Terms apply to everyone with an account, whether or not they hold a paid subscription.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You may only create one account per person. Accounts are non-transferable.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse of the platform, or attempt to circumvent usage limits.

3. What is free, and what is not

DGFari AI currently requires an invitation to create an account and access the service. Creating an invited account and completing the introductory assessment is free and requires no card. Continuing the conversation requires a paid allowance or a tester grant. A one-time tester grant does not refill and cannot be reclaimed by deleting and recreating an account. Your history remains readable while you retain private-testing access.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paddle acts as merchant of record for DGFari AI. Paddle is the seller named on your receipt, takes the payment, holds the card details and issues the invoice. We never see or store a card number.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and include a monthly usage allowance. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then.

Refunds. This section is also set out on its own as our Refund Policy. If you cancel and ask for a refund, we refund the portion of your allowance you have not used. Usage is metered, so this is measured exactly rather than estimated: the refund is the share of your monthly allowance still unspent at the moment you ask, multiplied by what you paid for the month. If you have already spent the whole allowance there is nothing to refund, and we will say so plainly.

Because cancelling already lets you keep spending what remains, a refund and the remaining allowance are the same thing and you may have either, not both. Asking for a refund closes the remainder: we settle the unused share in money, access to new conversations ends at that point, and everything you have written stays yours and stays readable.

Where you bought decides who returns the money. On the website Paddle is the merchant of record and refunds through Paddle. In the Android app the payment is taken by Google Play: within 48 hours of a charge you can ask Google directly in the Play Store, and after that ask us and we refund through Google Play. The amount is the same either way.

Failed payments. If a renewal fails, you keep your plan and whatever remains of the allowance you have already paid for. Cards expire and banks decline for reasons that have nothing to do with wanting to stay, and losing your Future Self over a bank error is not a reasonable response to one.

What you do not receive is a new month. Your allowance does not renew while a payment is outstanding, so once the remainder is spent, new conversations pause until payment succeeds. Updating your card, or paying with a different one, restores your plan and starts a fresh month of allowance from that moment.

Everything you have written remains yours and remains readable throughout. Your data is never deleted for non-payment.

5. Your content

The identity work you do in DGFari AI belongs to you. Your onboarding responses, conversations, Dreams, Goals, and progress logs are your content. You can export all of it at any time and delete it permanently if you choose.

By using the product, you grant DGFari AI a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service: generating your Future Self persona, powering conversations, and producing reflections. This license ends when you delete your account.

We do not use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use DGFari AI to:

• Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or abuse the underlying AI system
• Create accounts to circumvent usage limits or access restrictions
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts

7. The AI

DGFari AI uses AI to generate your Future Self persona and power conversations. The AI speaks in a voice derived from your own words and intentions. It is not a licensed therapist, counselor, medical provider, or life coach. It is not a substitute for professional mental health support.

8. Disclaimers

DGFari AI is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about outcomes, transformation, or results. The product is a tool for reflection and identity work. What you do with that work is entirely your own.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the product. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. For material changes that affect how we process sensitive personal information, we will request your explicit consent before the changes take effect.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Philippines.

11. Accessibility

We publish an accessibility statement that says what works today, what does not yet, and how to tell us when something blocks you. It is kept outside these Terms so it can be corrected the day a barrier is fixed. If a barrier stops you using what you paid for, that statement explains what we will do about it
